This 2-hour webinar will provide professional business training, offering ways to strengthen your business proposal and verbal pitch, a "12 questions" methodology to better tailor your value proposition. Armed with improved selling tools, viewers of the webinar will be invited to meet with investors and potential business partners at a clean energy event this spring (Part II).This webinar was originally recorded on February 13, 2012
   
Meet Your Coach:
 
As Manager, Industry Engagement with Innovate Calgary, Kevin Dahl provides support and connections for advanced technology companies in Calgary, and helps to develop and promote specific business clusters and industry associations in Alberta. He is actively involved in Alberta’s tech sector and currently sits on various boards including Digital Alberta and the Calgary Council for Advanced Technology (CCAT).
   
As Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Innovate Calgary, Alex Raczenko, brings a breadth of experience to his role. His experience with establishing the correct priority and alignment between market, business and technology domains has proven effective in helping technology enabled/based companies establish a strong market and business centric foundation for future growth and evolution.
 
Innovate Calgary is a full service organization offering technology transfer and business incubator services to researchers, entrepreneurs and businesses within the advanced technology sector. We support commercialization by providing a variety of services and programs including: business and technical advice, workshops, screening of technologies for commercial potential, access to sector resources and networking events, licensing and intellectual property protection strategy, company creation/incubation programs and office and lab space - tenancy and business resources and facilities for technology companies.
 

PART II (Optional):
Building Capacity Program, Dealmakers' Lounge, will introduce clean energy technology companies with financial and business service providers to broker deals and discuss investment opportunities. The Building Capacity Program Dealmakers' Lounge will be held in conjunction with upcoming clean energy events in Western Canada this spring.
