Biography

Hari Suthan Subramaniam (Hari Suthan) joined the GE Canada National Executive team as Vice President - Government Markets. He drives GE's growth in Canada by seeking out market opportunities where the government is the customer or a significant enabler.  Hari works with GE businesses to support the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies with all levels of our government - Federal, Provincial and Municipal.

Hari brings to GE a diverse and valuable background that includes significant government experience, having worked in business and industrial development related ministries. Most recently, Hari was with the Economic Development and Trade Ministry at the Gov’t of Ontario. Prior to that, he held senior policy staff roles with the Ontario Ministry of Small Business and Entrepreneurship and with the Federal Ministry for Human Resources and Skills Development and the Ministry for International Cooperation.

Hari's Canadian and international experience includes having served in the Canadian Navy and worked in the private sector in R&D, marketing, finance and consulting roles.
