Technologies and equipment readily available to farmers can produce biodiesels derived from different organic materials
Employees from Chatham-Kent businesses including the utility, engineering firms, the Municipality and instructors from Ridgetown campus attended the workshop and dinner.

The WADE Canada RETScreen Training Workshop once again, received excellent feedback from all participants.

The training workshop included a tour of the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus Biodiesel Plant, where participants learned about the farmgate and second-generation biodiesel research, which is now being applied in various farms of the region. The University hopes to develop a profitable model for farmers to convert their used crop materials into biodiesel on-site, using equipment already available for farming purposes.
