Twenty-five executives from Calgary's energy sector participated in this networking dinner on June 8 to discuss the integration of clean and decentralized energy technology into the building and development industry.
Executives from large utility companies, small clean technology leaders, municipal and provincial government, colleges and related industry associations shared their perspectives on the future of the clean energy market.
Three main discussion themes focused on 1) bridging the gap between technology advancements and commercialization, 2) developing a strategy for education and awareness, and 3) working with government to mandate clean and decentralized energy as part of Alberta’s energy supply mix.
Over the coming months, you will hear more on these themes as WADE Canada responds with focused support initiatives.
